Toni Servillo (The Great Beauty) plays a dual role in this darkly comic satire of Italian politics. Enrico Oliveri is the head of Italy’s opposition party, and his recent public appearances have been listless and uninspiring. One day, without telling anyone, he travels to France to play hooky with his ex-girfriend (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi). Unaware of Enrico’s whereabouts, his adviser (Valerio Mastandrea) conceals his potentially disastrous disappearance by substituting his twin brother Giovanni, an author and philosopher who has just been released from an insane asylum. Needless to say, Giovanni really connects with Enrico’s public. In Italian with English subtitles. Writer/Director: Roberto Andò. (Italy 2013) 94 min.
