This beautifully filmed documentary explores the history of the Russian River as well as the diverse forces that influence the health of the Russian River watershed, demonstrating that the problems it currently faces are shared by rivers everywhere. Interviews in the film include water activist Maude Barlow, biologist Jim Lichatowich, environmental activist Dr. Marty Griffin, Don McEnhill of Russian Riverkeeper, David Keller of Friends of the Eel River and many other scientists and individuals from public and private organizations.
