Shot in nearly 60 locations throughout the Bay Area in 23, Dream with the Fishes was the first feature film directed by screenwriter Finn Taylor. A native of the Bay Area, Taylor decided to use San Francisco, Oakland, and the coastal community of Pescadero as the backdrop for this beloved darkly comedic drama.

Hoping to fulfill his unusual fantasies in grand style, fast-talkling Nick (Brad Hunt) makes a pact with his eccentric neighbor Terry (David Arquette): if Terry will bankroll the adventure, Nick will help Terry realize his own particularly bizarre fantasies.
