Charlie Chaplin was the first global superstar, and he’s still relevant today, as performer and comic Dan Kamin demonstrates in this entertaining show that incorporates fascinating images, music and restored film. Chaplin’s short 1918 feature Shoulder Arms, a war satire made while World War I was still raging, will be presented in its original release version, and Kamin will reveal the comic techniques that, at that time, made Chaplin the most famous person in the world.

Dan Kamin performs internationally in solo shows. He trained Robert Downey, Jr. for his Oscar-nominated performance in Chaplin and created Johnny Depp’s physical comedy routines in Benny and Joon. Program approximately 2 hours.

ADMISSION TO THIS PROGRAM:  $15 General  |  $13 Seniors & Youth  |  $10 CFI Members
