This immersive documentary captures the groundbreaking exhibition David Bowie is, created by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in 2013. The fastest-selling exhibition in the V&A’s history, it features a remarkable collection of handwritten lyrics, original costumes, fashion, photography, film, music videos, set designs, Bowie’s own instruments and album artwork from the David Bowie Archive. The film takes us on a fascinating journey through the exhibition, with special guests including legendary Japanese fashion designer Kansai Yamamoto, Pulp front-man Jarvis Cocker and other collaborators, to explore the stories behind the key objects. Exhibition curators Victoria Broackes and Geoffrey Marsh provide further insight. Film 99 min.
