From the director of the hit documentary Fantastic Fungi, this inspirational and entertaining new film takes us on a transformational journey exploring how we can live a more meaningful life full of gratitude. Through intimate conversations with thought leaders and everyday people, filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg posits “gratitude” as a proven pathway back from the disconnection we feel in our lives: disconnection from ourselves, our planet and each other.

Filmmaker and producer Louie Schwartzberg is an award-winning cinematographer and director whose career spans more than 40 years employing, as in Fantastic Fungi, breathtaking imagery and time-lapse techniques to tell inspiring stories that celebrate life. During the pandemic, he noted how society was disconnected, with even the small things in life– meeting a friend for coffee or hugging a family member– taken away from us. Gratitude Revealed represents an attempt to help people in desperate need of connection, both inner and external. Interview subjects in the film include Deepak Chopra, Lynne Twist, Jack Kornfield, Norman Lear, Christine Carter and Michael Beckwith. Music: Lisbeth Scott. Writers: Alan Wain, Louie Schwartzberg. Director/Camera: Louie Schwartzberg. (US 2022) 82 min.
