With the glamorous looks of a Hollywood movie star, a UC Berkeley education, and an upper middle-class upbringing, Jocelyn seemed to be on track for what was expected of a woman of that era. But she had other plans and veered off the traditional path to set her own course. That path came at a cost. Jocelyn’s passion and mastery of sailing has helped pave the way for female sailors to compete in a sport that, only a few decades ago, was entirely male-dominated.
