Join us as we celebrate National Stuttering Awareness Week with an evening of personal storytelling, radical self-acceptance, and deep listening through the lens of the stuttering community. This program features a collection of powerful short and feature-length documentaries by and about the stuttering community, spotlighting their lived experiences and reclaiming stuttering as a meaningful part of identity.
The screening will be followed by a conversation with special guests, including filmmaker Michael Turner, filmmaker and Proud Stutter founder Maya Chupkov.
The post-screening discussion will be moderated by comedian and disability advocate, Nina G.

In this uplifting short, filmmaker Karina Sturm follows Maya’s mission to amplify the voices of people who stutter and celebrate stuttering as simply another way of speaking.
