In their resonant filmmaking debut, Logan and Noah Miller star in a fictionalized version of their own story: twin working-class brothers who pursue professional baseball careers while trying to save their homeless, alcoholic father, played to perfection by Ed Harris. Also starring Robert Forster, Brad Dourif and Lee Meriwether, this heartfelt coming-of-age drama was filmed largely on Marin County locations with substantial regional talent. The Millers tell the story of the film’s making in their book Either You’re In or You’re in the Way: Two Brothers, Twelve Months, and One Filmmaking Hell-Ride to Keep a Promise to Their Father, and the film was also the first to be distributed by California Film Institute’s CFI Releasing.
